I have visited Siargao three times and tried many different accommodations, but I never truly felt at home anywhere. This was the first place where I felt at home. If you work online and need peace and quiet for meetings, this is perfect. Everywhere else I stayed, I found myself surrounded by noise, but here I could do my meetings in complete silence. The owner is super proactive, helps with everything, and is very accommodating – I’m truly grateful!

This is a beautifully-decorated, spacious studio apartment on a quiet street in General Luna. It's very private and comfortable: here's a large sitting room, bedroom, bathroom (with indoor and outdoor shower) and kitchen. Outside the windows you see greenery and beautiful plants. The Wifi is strong and the water pressure is great too.

Although the apartment is centrally located, you have to walk about 15 minutes on foot to reach the heart of town. When it rains, the street floods and has large puddles. The situation is manageable, but easier if you drive a scooter.

Decor was nice. Very clean and enjoyable

It’s a bit difficult to reach as it has an offroad way to get to it. When it rained the offroad became a huge puddle that was difficult to go through on the scooter. However they also provided a scooter delivery to ur doorstep which was very convenient

The property was spacious. Host was responsive. Quite area. The bed was comfortable, they offered free filtered water. Had basic necessities. Close to the main hub but far away from the noise. The AC worked very well.

The power went out several times- no electricity and no water. Which is expected in an island, if this is an issue- might be better off somewhere where there are backup generators. The water smelt awful, this property uses water from a well. It took over the entire room- it wasn’t until 3/7 days we stayed that they added febreeze to help with the smell, though it didn’t work very well. During a windy day, a piece of log (which is helping to provide privacy in the bathroom) was knocked down, so when you re using the bathroom, you could see people from the outside vice versa. After sharing our concern- it took a couple of days to have a temporary fix. My sister and her husband, and my husband and I occupied both units. We noticed that couple of things from the room would be missing randomly. In my room, there was a hairdryer one day, and the next when I had to use it late at night, it was gone. Sleeping with wet hair in the cold was not pleasant. However the room next door- had theirs. The next day, as my sister was about to cook breakfast, she noticed that the oil is missing when she had just seen it the day before. We have no problem buying or requesting these items, however the inconsistency and having to text the owner almost everyday with an issue felt like a burden. Upside to this property is that there are a lot of furry friends outside, however, a couple of times the dogs brought a dead rat, and placed it right by the door. The smell was awful. Property could benefit in a better way of closing the gate so they don’t come in. To add, in day 6 &7 of our stay, the wifi stopped working completely. We thought it was because of the heavy wind but as we go into the main hub, the wifis were working just fine. One of us had to buy a sim for this reason.

The property was in a good location. Not too far from tourism road. The property looked modern. Everything appeared clean.

-The smell. I dont know what it is. But the smell coming from the washroom was so strong. We got home on our second day and it was unbearable (thankfully housekeeping brought air fresheners the next day which helped. -No generator. The place was very nice and modern, but it didn’t have generator (which would have been nice considering the island experiences frequent black outs). There were multiple days where we had black outs. It lasted for several HOURS one day so no electricity AND no water for shower. -No extra towels AND no beach towels provided. When asked, we were asked that we would be charged extra for it. -WIFI. Omg this one. On our last few days (2-3 days) the wifi was very poor and we could not connect properly. On our last day, we finally decided to message the owner regarding the wifi and we didn’t get a response till day of check out (which basically said there was nothing to be done). -Construction. I woke up every single morning with construction noise next door. The owner had asked us to vacate as well for a few hours coz they had scheduled maintenance for the roof and they needed access in the property (which we basically found out the night before)

This villa was the best accommodation I stayed in General Luna (I stayed 3 different locations for this trip). It was clean, the host was extremely responsive and helpful, WiFi and A/C worked great. Despite of outage in the island, I had no problems staying here. The location is quiet side of Tourism Road, around 10minutes drive to Cloud 9, plenty of other beaches, and restaurants/bars. You can still find places to eat and drink by foot even if you don't fancy driving a bike. If you want to learn to surf, they have an on-site senior instructor, Jessie, who I highly recommend. The price of this villa is not necessarily low for the area, but it was worth every penny.

Clean and quiet

It rained there so the road was muddy and difficult for the Tok-toks ( the motor with side cabs) to maneuver. Fault is not the owners, but rather the government. They should have the streets there paved. Maybe it will soon .
