Casa na Serra, Sabugueiro

Es una casa con 2 alojamientos diferentes con 2 accesos distintos. La de arriba entras desde la calle directo y tiene 2 plantas y la de abajo tiene una sola planta y entras bajando unas escaleras desde la calle. Nosotros estuvimos abajo, casa cómoda, amplia, la cocina tiene de todo y tiene una terraza amplia para estar. Abajo hay un jardín común pero no está muy utilizable. La comunicación con la anfitriona muy buena y la señora que nos dio las llaves y nos enseñó la casa encantadora.

La cuesta para llegar a la casa es tela, lo habíamos leído y aún así al llegar el primer día el coche cargado se nos quedó.

La maison est spacieuse, confortable, propre et très bien équipée. Le balcon terrasse offre une belle vue sur la montagne.

Pas de point négatif.

Casa muito bem equipada, a cozinha tinha inclusivamente sal e azeite, detergente da loiça e esponja, panos da loiça (aquelas coisas que normalmente nos esquecemos de levar). Tem máquina de café e até tinha cápsulas de café disponíveis. Adorámos a vista e o varandim que deu um jeitão estar fechado por causa das melgas na rua.

Não foi não gostar, é mais uma sugestão. As cabines do duche podiam ser um bocadinho mais espaçosas. Para dar banho à criança, teve que ser ela do lado de dentro e o adulto cá fora. Mas nada que não se desenrascasse.

Tudo perfeito e limpo. Não tenho nada a apontar. A Dona Lurdes é muito simpatica.

The view from the balcony and bedrooms was fantastic! The kitchen was well equipped and it had more than we needed. Next to the house is a nice little trail with a sunset view.

Spacious apartment with a great view and tranquility. We felt very welcomed by the owner and she was very responsive. Nice location if you are looking to hike in Serra da Estrala mountains !!

Small details but a few things come to mind: 1- Have a lid on the garbage 2- Better curtains for the shower so that the water doesn't go on the floor.

The view, the amount of space inside

The house wasn’t very comfortable. The couches are quite hard and chairs on the balcony could also be better. Besides that, there are a lot of cats outside (which I didn’t mind) but, I have a cat allergy and it seemed like they have been inside the house as I had quite the allergy during the whole stay.

D Lurdes was super friendly despite the language barrier we were able to get the keys and head out for the sunset view in no time

As advertised the access is very steep but that’s part of the charm

Comfortable and spacious 2 bedroom home with an amazing view from the top of town overlooking Sabugueiro. Loved the balcony. The owner was not present but the neighbours who met us with the keys were lovely, welcoming and accommodating. The driveway to get up to the house is steep, as stated, but manageable in our 2wd hire car, though we actually needed 2 of our members (we were a party of 3) to get out so the engine could actually reach the top of the hill.

There were many flies inside the house when we arrived. Thankfully they didnt tend to land on you or your food. This was a minor complaint and otherwise everything was great.

We noticed someone complained about the cats but for us that is a plus they are very friendly. A small charcoal bbq is available and adequate to cook for 4. The kitchen was well equipped.The goats came down from the pasture on their way to be milked as did the sheep. The shepherd was very friendly as were his dogs. The position is a magic spot great views and outside balcony is enclosed with a glass curtain that can be fully opened. Nice walk into the hills behind the house all in all if you get the chance to stay here grab it! We self cater and there is a small mini mart just down the hill but in Seia a 15minute drive all the large supermarkets can be found. However there are plenty of restaurants in the town and small goods stores with local cheeses and smoked meats.The greeter was very helpful lighting a fire for us on arrival and showing us how to use the glass curtain. She came promptly when we had a minor issue to be solved. The hostess was always available by text or phone just great service an and great house.

nothing and the drive way that has been mentioned as a problem is rubbish it is steep but if you can drive a car up hill you can drive up this driveway!
