Very clean and comfortable. Well decorated and equipped with a fantastic view of the douro. Staff kept the place spotless and couldnt be more helpful. We were made to feel really welcome from the moment we arrived and Sr Joaquim even gave our car a rinse after it was covered with ash from forest fires. The owner provides great toiletries, luxurious towels and a nespresso coffee machine. The area is really quiet and we were very grateful for a clean pool and the aircon. Nearby bakery is excellent with a lovely balcony overlooking the river.

Nothing. The only thing we did find was the house was a bit creaky at night due to the intense 40c heat and the wood contracting at night as it cooled.

Rien à redire, séjour magique, la vue, le cadre, la piscine, les arbres fruitiers, les colombes.... Très bon accueil de Joaquim, qui, même s'il ne parlait ni français, ni anglais était extrêmement serviable. Propriétaire à l'écoute, qui nous a permis d'avoir accès à une machine à laver.

Rien, peut-être que l'accès devant la maison n'est pas à 100% privatif et donc passage des personnes gérant le lieu, mais c'est un détail.

This was an amazing property! The staff were so helpful to greet us and get the gate opened to park. The ac was very comfortable. Amazing views and grounds, including a refreshing private swimming pool. Great hills, river, valley, and vineyard views. Very nice interior. Very nice outside sitting.

Beautiful house in Douro Valley with great view over the river. The huge window in both rooms is enough to make you want to wake up early just to enjoy the scenery. Mr Joaquim was very welcoming and made sure we had the best experience both in the Quinta but also in cute Folgosa.
