An oasis in a tourist destination. The small town is quiet but near enough to the main tourist attractions to make it fabulous!

It is even better than in the pictures. The house is located in the middle of an athletic village, on the hill with grape wines and orange trees. A small church is nearby. The view can not be better. You can hear bells and roosters. We arrived late in the rainy evening. The owner was there to meet and greet us. He quickly showed us the property. We appreciated the little welcome touches like cookies and milk. No problem with the parking. And it is easy to get from the place to wineries and other local attractions.

"Warm In the Village with a river view!"

Location, View. farm, balcony, space, comfortable, good equipment, very nice staff, some treats on the check in, good hair dryer, heater, etc nearby theres a cafe that has great pregos and other stuff closes at 6pm though

only thing missing was salt and pepper when we made eggs lol 🙂

"Gorgeous views of the Duero Valley"

A lovely modern house with gorgeous views of the valley. Private pool. The staff are lovely and really helpful - very little English spoken (our issue for not speaking Portuguese) but we still managed to get by. A two minute walk from a small cafe/bakery and also the DOC restaurant. Private parking was available next door.

The bed in the main bedroom is small and very hard. Also whilst there is a full kitchen, the oven is a portable one and doesn’t work very well.

"Comfortable home, beautiful terrace, welcoming hosts."

The house is beautiful and comfortable in a small village. We received a very friendly welcome and tour of the house upon check-in. The view from the terrace and pool area is stunning. We loved spending some time out there even with the late March chill in the air. The house itself is beautiful and comfortable. It was nice being in a more rural setting for our stay as the rest of our vacation was in bigger cities. Parking wasn't an issue and was not far away. This whole area (Douro Valley and much of Portugal really) is fairly hilly, so keep that in mind if you or someone in your party have limited mobility. It was nice having a kitchen and two bedrooms with a family of four. Thanks for a great stay!
