We felt very welcomed and also intrigued to stay in a lovely village setting. If you have a rental car, there is lots of parking, and the location makes it very easy to see all the sights in Terceira. Having breakfast each day in the cottage was so handy. Very generous, well stocked refrigerator. It was also nice to use the washing machine and hang our laundry out in the sunshine.

Many neighbours have dogs, they seem to stay outside and bark.

The location is great, with plenty of parking space. The old house is very charming and well equipped, combining both modern and traditional features. The host was very kind and welcoming—he prepared a variety of local products and fruits for our stay and delivered fresh bread every morning. It was a wonderful and memorable stay in the small town of Ribeirinha, which is very close to the capital.

The bed was a bit short for us, and we experienced some issues with the hot water supply—there wasn't enough for the second person to shower after the first.

Great location, wonderful, charming historic house, easy parking. Well equipped kitchen, nice arrangement with daily bread delivery and lots of milk, ham, cheese, fruit, etc. provided in the fridge.

It would have been nice if soap, shampoo and conditioner had been provided. The double bed with high footboard was comfortable for us, but would be a tight fit for anyone 5’11”/180 cm or taller.

What a wonderful welcome to the Azores! This historic property is situated on a small town square next to the old fountain. It has been lovingly cared for for generations and still retains the stone oven and many other details. José met us with a warm smile and showed us the small family museum adjacent to the house. The refrigerator was fully stocked. We were able to see the bull "fight" right in front of the house. We loved every minute of our stay... a 10+!

Absolutely nothing!

Delightful host, beautifully kept and authentic house. It was a pleasure to learn more about its history. Very generous food supplies, and daily bread was much appreciated. Thankyou again.

everything was perfect!!

Fresh bread rolls were delivered every morning and the fridge was fully stocked for breakfast! The owner Jose is a really nice guy and gave us a history of the house and a tour of it's very own museum!

The owner is a very nice guy. He delivers fresh buns for breakfast every morning. The breakfast is very nice (variety of coffee, fruits, milk, yogurts, ham, cheese etc). The bathroom was basic, but very clean.

The house is very old and has a specific odour inside, which penetrates bed sheets and you don’t have a feeling it’s a clean and fresh place to sleep.
