Lascar Catargiu Villa

A wonderful place to stay in Bucharest. We had everything we needed for our short stay. Extremely comfortable beds to sleep in, . A lovely and kind host who was available all the time, but we didn't need anything. We had coffee provided for the morning as a compliment from the host. Close to the center and attractions. I hope we go again for a longer stay. We would hire the apartment again.

There is no free parking nearby, but from a previous stay in the city we knew of one and used it again, we just had to park there and walk to the apartment and get to our car in the morning. The host was kind enough to offer us paid parking nearby, which we declined.

The apartment was very nice. I liked that it had multiple bathrooms for us to use. I like how each room had a television. The heating was good and kept us warm. The hosts were very good and responded quickly if we needed help with anything. I would book again, at least now I know about the stairs. Very good value for money.

I didn’t like the fact that there was no lift in the property. We had loads of bags and a baby, so this was very difficult for us. I wish we had been informed about this, maybe it was written in the description somewhere and I didn’t see it. The apartment we got although it was nice, it was not the one I wanted from the pictures. There wasn’t enough space for me and the group chill when weren’t in bed, there was one small sofa. The kitchen was small for the group we booked for. The front door was letting in a lot of draft.

It was a stunning property, really lovely features and lots of space. Easy to get around, a nice walk into the old town and easy to get a taxi to the airport / spa.
