"Disappointing"

The mattress of the bed was not confortable. We asked for an extra blanket and did not have any answer. The fridge did work, etc

"After staying in hotels, it was a very enjoyable change to have a little place of our own for a few days."

The location was great! The cottage was private and cozy. The owner was very friendly, knowledgeable and interesting to speak with.

The bed could have been a bit more comfortable.

"Monsanto is an amazing place but Castelo Cottages II needs to work better."

All the village of Monsanto and the area is an amazing experience.

Probably we just had bad luck because the house/project was in a bad moment. The contact with the owner by phone was always very difficult (on the arrival and especially after leaving - just to ask for a simple invoice) and she was never polite and professional on the phone. The information about the conditions of access to the house is not clear and only in the moment of arrival is possible to understand that the car has to be parked very far away and that is not possible to just drop things ath the house and then park. The heat inside the house was intense, but it was probably just bad luck - in another season it might be more confortable -, the hygiene could be better, and we had the bad luck of having construction noise outside the house everyday.
