The building is in a good position and well connected to the center of the city. There's a nice bar nearby, and the area feels safe. The house was big and spacious, with a great living room. The house can accomodate a lot of people.

The host is OBNOXIOUS. Zero flexibility on anything, completely unnecessary demands, for no reason. Unpolite, pushy, and very unreasonably demanding. You get a list of things you can't do or you're supposed to do, with penalties attached. You're forced to pay a deposit outside of booking.com. They make you feel like they're doing you a favour to host you, when actually you're paying for rental. After paying 120$ for cleaning fee, you're supposed to leave the house shining clean, or you'll get charged extras. One of the "rooms" is a walled off patio, absolutely not insulated, cold and humid. Not an healthy place to sleep. One of the mattresses was severely broken, at the point of being basically unusable. The building has issues in various points: broken doors, broken tiles, and one of the bathroom has a floor that feels like it's falling under your feet. Overall it feels like a very cheap stay, but the price tag isn't matching the quality of it, as it's not cheap in price. The long list of monetary penalties, paired with the fact that the host takes your money (deposit outside booking) and has full control over it, makes everything very stressy. I only got my money back after weeks, and after involving booking, despite the host said it'd come back after a week. Absolutely not recommended, the property could be ok with a cheaper price, but the host definitely shouldn't be hosting anyone, they're not professional at all.

Nice place within a couple of miles of capitol and a mile from U street. Good on street parking.

Fine for us, but some may want a tv and dishwasher.

The only thing I didn’t like about this property was there wasn’t a TV available. We ended up having to go purchase a TV for the weekend.

There is a Chinese restaurant close by call Chinese Dragon that has great chicken wings, crispy hot and delicious. Some of the best wings I had.

The host was horrible, nickel and dime you every opportunity and once you set foot into the door, you becomes their ATM machine. The whole resident smells like a beauty parlor, residual smell of wet hair shampoo dampness and nail polisher, very repulsive. The place was not up kept, dirty, dirty, dirty. Every where was dirty that doesn't show up on photo but when you are there physically the uncleanliness screams at you. The beddings, towels, and sheets are so used that you know it has a body count that piles higher than Mount Everest. There is no 2 person beds, every bed only fit single person and I won't call them mattress more like memory foam on bed frame (not the most comfortable situation either). There was only 4 chairs in the dining table, which we end up having to stand around to eat our dinner. Overall this is by far the worse experience you can possibly find, If you want to overpay(almost $2000/2nights) and end up on the phone being driven crazy by the host on a vacation then this is the place to go. But if you want to enjoy your vacation, you run as far away as you can. After check out Owner say they refund deposit 7 days later. Since it past 7 days I didn't get my money back and call for my refund. She put up a fight about it.

no even a full or queen bed, good rooms but need to have at least one for a couple; and just one advice: fix the front door

We only stayed for one very unpleasant night. There is nothing that I could recommend & my security deposit has not been returned.

Very uncomfortable beds and temperature which was boiling hot upstairs and cold downstairs. The thermostat is controlled by a code that we were not given. This was so uncomfortable that we rented a hotel room rather than stay for the second night.
