Walking Distance To Beach And Shops

Close to casino, which is why we stayed. I'm sure this would be an awesome place to stay in the summer, as it is walking distance to shops, restaurants and Lake Michigan

Thought it was tacky that the walls were covered with hand written rules. The cleaning fee was pretty hefty for a one night stay. The bedrooms are tiny, no place to put your clothes and none of the tvs in the bedrooms worked.

The house was clean and bright. Loved the open concept for the living/dining rooms. I liked the back patio and yard and wish that we’d stayed in the summer so that we could utilize the grill and out door shower. The property owners were EXCELLENT at answering questions and addressing concerns. We really appreciated that!

The soda machine is a cute addition… but it only ate the quarters. Getting to the plates/glasses was awkward as they were in an open closet instead of cabinets but we managed just fine for the night.

Upstairs area not the best with TV and beds. But again enjoyed our stay i would recommend a better way to watch TV upstairs.

charming little cottage with amusing details. there is an old-fashioned soda can vending machine in the kitchen, and a gumball machine in the dining room, that accept quarters. there are also surf, skim, and body boards available for use. there is a bicycle in the lounge that's for both decoration and function, but we did not use it. the cottage is directly across the street from a cash only dive called radamack's. the food was average, but the atmosphere was fun.

anything that could be improved is at the nitpicky level. there is a window ac unit in the downstairs bedroom that is much welcome and much needed in the summer, but it cranks out water so fast it was a bit difficult to keep up with draining the catch bucket.
