The Ledges Resort & Marina

Our family of 3 stayed at the Heron Cottage. It was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen for breakfast and some lunches. We even grilled for dinner one night. There was NOTHING missing from the kitchen-we had everything we needed and more. My only criticism would be that they couldn’t seem to get the bathroom latch repaired properly. It broke during our stay and they quickly came to repair but it still didn’t work. We decided to just deal with it. I let the staff know when we checked out. We also had some trouble figuring out the tv. It didn’t seem to have the standard channels-Some nights we couldn’t sit outside because the weather wasn’t the best so we tried to find something to watch. Overall, we loved it here and when in the area again, will try to stay at the Ledges. The view is breathtaking!!

My wife and I stayed at the Heron Cottage. What a fantastic experience! There is nothing negative to say about our stay and the cabin itself. The cabin is modern, clean, and complete with the amenities you usually have to pack and bring when staying at a cottage. A full kitchen, a huge bathroom/shower, and a deck complete with a picnic table cap off the cottage experience. The view is simply spectacular: the St. Lawrence River and Boldt's Castle. I must mention that the entire staff at the resort works daily to ensure the grounds are maintained, including each cabin's supply of firewood and propane for the grill. I encourage any couple or family coming to Alexandria Bay for its beauty and peacefulness to stay at Ledges Resort, you will be pleased.

Excellent accommodations, perfect location, helpful proprietors. Even the weather was exceptional. Lighthouse is a beautiful place with plenty of sleeping room for the maximum of 8 residents, as long as all are couples. We feel there is room for a single bed to be added in the front bedroom, so that two non-intimates don't have to share a bed. But a very comfortable accommodation! Sparrow Cottage was ideal for me and my pup. Spotless and soaring ceilings gave a spacious feel. Expansive property allowed for nice morning walks and evening strolls and downtown was a bicycle ride away. We will return often and book the same accommodations! :)

What a beautiful place to stay, so comfortable, adorable details! Theres games provided, all kitchen essentials, we stayed in gatehouse 1 with 4 adults and a child and had plenty of room. Spacious cottages with perfect touches, we will definitely be back!
