The Ledges Resort & Marina

Great location for a stay in the Thousand Islands region. We stayed in Gatehouse 2 cottage which was the perfect size for two couples. Very well equipped and clean with everything you need and more. We enjoyed the outdoor space as well with our own fire pit and deck. Short drive to Alexandria Bay downtown which has plenty of dining options and shops. Great communication also with management. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay at the Ledges was very enjoyable. The cottages were spotless and recently remodeled with great workmanship. We especially enjoyed the 6 landscaped acres to walk our dog. The separated cottages provide a noise free experience. Located just feet away from the St. Lawrawnce River, we could sit at the breakfast bar in our cottage and watch the boats go by.

Everything!! Attention to detail (board games, chocolates, all kitchen/grill necessities, fluffy towels), incredibly comfortable bed and pillows, very clean and well maintained but still felt lived in and homey. Felt very safe too as a solo female traveler!

Some privacy (a large bush or some plantings, or maybe a decorative fence) between the driveway and the window that faces the drive would be nice! I wanted to open that curtain and window to get a breeze but didn't want everyone to see in.

Cottages are new and well appointed. Grounds are beautiful. Pool is fantastic and views of the St Lawrence and Boldt Castle are great. Perfect location!

Just needed a night light for the bathroom since it was part of the bedroom and turning the light on in the middle of the night can interrupt you partner’s sleep.

The Ledges is a fantastic choice for a relaxing getaway. Everything was provided for us to enjoy our stay. A quick stop at the nearby supermarket to pickup our meat and veg was all we needed. Kitchen utensils and cookware are provided, or use the large BBQ grill. The location provides great views and is in a great location. Lots of open spaces, easy parking and kayaks/canoes to use at your leisure. Even fitewood and kindling are provided. The furniture is comfortable, including the bed. The shower and bathroom were clean and top notch. Although right next to a marina, there was very little noise - only just enough so you knew boaters were on their way to enjoy or returning after a day on the water. Our visit was on par with premier hotel services but with the better views. The bonus was having our dog - that made it all the more special. Oh! And the staff were responsive and friendly. Voice or text, they are quick to respond. We will definitely return. Thank you Ledges!
