Location was perfect..

It was a very nice little home!

Close to Crater of Diamond park! Was able to borrow diamond hunting materials from the owner, Shirley. The Mexican restaurant in town was great and the kids loved the small indoor arcade/play place off the Main Street. We made great memories! Highly recommend for anyone traveling to search for diamonds, very convenient!

The logging trucks start at 3 am and are very loud. I’m sure everyone in town can hear them no matter where you stay. We just put on a sound machine and were fine.

The location was perfect: easy access, in town, near dollar stores and gas, restaurants, and rock shops. We had a full kitchen with more condiments and necessary side items than we could have hoped for! The space was more than plenty for my friend and I on a week long trek to Crater of Diamonds. We enjoyed the quiet, the laid back house, the digging equipment and washer and dryer. We cooked and assembled take-along lunches for our digging days. It was truly what I had hoped for.

Minor grievances: The floor is a little uneven in places. At first I thought it was me. But I got used to it, and no biggie. The one bedroom door closes itself. There was a wedge for it so that’s fine. Oh. Murfreesboro hasn’t a real grocery store. The dreaded Walmart is 25 minutes away in Nashville, AR. Dollar stores have some staples: bread, eggs, cheese, cereal, but no fresh produce.

The location was perfect. Close to the mine, downtown, and fishing spots on the river and lake. The staff shared valuable knowledge of the mine and other area attractions. The cabin had good air conditioning and some fans to keep the air moving. Cabin included all the diamond finding gear, like buckets, gloves, screens, a wagon, and more. The host gave me her number, so I could text if I needed anything. This would be the perfect set up for a family or group of 6 to spend a few days at the mine. It was close enough to go twice in a day and bring back all the sifted gravel for further investigation. Practically guaranteed a diamond if you follow the detailed instructions from the shop owner at Diamond Classics. Good luck!

I only found one tiny little diamond. And I couldn't fit all the other great rocks in my suitcase. I also did not catch a fish.
