The Diamond Hideaway

Decent location

First walk in the house your hit with a bad smell, the property is badly rundown. Stained carpet, a bad soft spot in one of the rooms and just overall a handy man special fixer upper. The window unit did not keep the house even cool, I cleaned the very dirty filters and that helped a little. The house is just run down and it stinks. The host were great to speak with.

This is definitely a home away from home. a little diamond in the rough. They had every amenity you can think of.. If you forgot something, they probably had it.

I didn't like that because I went early in the week some of the restaurants I wanted to go to were not open. They were only open Thursday-Sunday.

Everything we needed was available. I little bit of history of the hideaway and the diamond mine was in the books that they had there. The equipment and the hunting tips👍👍

Everything was perfect

The hosts were some of the nicest people and gave a lot of great tips for the Crater of Diamonds.

Door lock broke and had a hard time getting it fixed, but this was no fault of the property owners.... just one of those things that happen.

I love the coziness, the location and the feeling of being at home. Ms Shirley and Ms Alberta made us feel welcome and comfortable. Felt like I've known them forever. We will DEFINITELY be back to The Hideaway!

I cannot think of anything that we did not like.

The place was clean. The neighbors were quiet. The rooms were spacious.
