Pine Acres Lodge

Great staff, so very friendly despite the limited hours they were on site. Easy to work with to pick up and drop off keys in a lockbox. Property is a older, but updates had been done. Bed was comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. Nearby beach area great for early morning or late evening walks. 17 mile drive starts very nearby and Monterey is only a short 10 minute drive away.

There are no walkable restaurants or grocery stores, Minor complaint and we knew that before booking.

Everything was fantastic. Very spacious, well equipped, and comfortable. Great location as well. Short walk to Asilomar State Beach, close t everything.

I liked the location, close to the beach, the trails and downtown. The fully equipped kitchen and comfortable dining area were impressive. I was surprised with amenities like a hot tub in the upstairs bathroom. It was quiet, a perfect place to relax.

I don't know if it was bad but I got a lot more than I asked for. Through Booking, I asked for a room for 1, which almost always translates into 2, but got a town home that could house up to 6 people. Still scratching my head about this one.

The location was great and check-in was easy even though we arrived late. The location felt safe/ secure and the free parking was helpful. We accidentally left my wife's charger behind and the host kindly contacted us to let us know - very thoughtful

The pull out beds weren't comfortable and probably need replacing. We struggled to get the TV to work.

Clean and cozy

AMAZING place to stay! Pine Grove town is a little less populated than Monteray Bay and the town part was in walking distance (about 15 mins) with lots of options for restuarants, shops, etc. Pine Acres Lodge (we stayed in the largest unit, #14) was immaculate, had everything one could want in the kitchen, plenty of space, a little private sitting area out back, and the (very clean) hot tub was close by. The staff at the desk were so friendly. There is an easy way to get your keys if you were to arrive after the office closes. Based on what other stays are priced at in this area, this is a very good price too!

We loved the family feel and laid back atmosphere / nice decor for holidays and wonderful employees here ~~ was my husband and grown son and myself ~~ holiday time . unit was so clean and beds were very comfy. Our unit was nicely stocked with towels and kitchen apparatus - all you need for a visit or to cook basics. i am an allergy sufferer and noticed not the hint of anything to make allergies flare up. This property is full of genuinely nice peeps. thanks for a wonderful stay in the beautiful state of CA.
