Casa da Travessa

Maison complètement privative avec terrain et salon de jardin, au calme, très bien situé, parfaitement équipée. José et son épouse sont très accueillants et sympathiques et avaient prévu tout ce qu’il faut pour notre arrivée : fruits, boissons, biscuits, pizza… Nous avons rarement été aussi chaleureusement accueillis dans une location !

Tout était parfait !

The aparment is very big. José and his wife are very kind and they care of their guests. For a longer stay it would have been even nicer as it has a garage, the barbecue, laundry and a private place for an outdoor lunch/dinner.

The position is quite isolated so you need to have a car or to book a taxi well in advance.

We really enjoyed our stay in Casa Da Travessa when visiting Flores in June 2025. José instantly made us feel at home when we arrived and the fridge was filled with delicious vegetables, drinks, wine... We recommend this lovely house to everyone planning a visit to the beautiful island Flores!

Jose and Graça were amazing hosts - they even left us a home baked cake in the shape of a heart and a bottle of champagne as it was our honeymoon. The house is great with everything you need. They also left some groceries and eggs from their chickens for us. The location is pretty with some good walks nearby but not a lot of places to go out for a meal.
