Dear José,  I would like to thank you. We had decided to celebrate our son Hélios' 32nd birthday on this sublime Flores island and had searched for a perfect rental for this occasion and stay. José welcomed us with so much delicacy and genuine kindness. We were extremely touched and moved by all his little attentions, like offering us eggs from his own chickens and beautiful onions and eggs. Having our own chickens at home, we know that it is a treasure filled with love and priceless. We tasted his wine and kept the other gifts for our return home. José thought with his heart to make the welcome of the tenants perfect and unforgettable. Tomorrow we will take the plane to Corvo where we will continue our connection to Nature and Mother Earth fill our hearts and minds with beauty... All the amenities you could possibly need are provided by the hosts. The drive from the airport is just breathtaking, with continuous views of bays and the island of Corvo on one side and forests and hills on the other.

Nothing

Roomy, beautiful, quiet, the kitchen had all you needed. Jose’ was very helpful and welcomed us with a basket of grocery.

Only one minor thing. We don’t have elettric stove and burner at home and it would be useful to have instructions on how to use it.

The house is located in a picturesque, quiet place conducive to complete rest and relaxation. There are also places for leisurely walks near the ocean. The owners of the house are very attentive and friendly people who help with almost everything in any nuance. The accommodation is very comfortable and everyday details are thought out and everything is there for a comfortable stay, the nature on the island is stunning in its diversity and beauty and we went on several exciting hikes.

Best were the owners: Graça & José - THANK YOU ! We were blessed with José bringing us food and drinks to survive a long day's end plus much longer, that was so touching ! It is a brand new house equipped with about everything (and more !) and I would be more than happy to live my day-to-day life in such a place ! It's nicely and quietly located, has an own garage and a separate fireplace, modern bathroom and kitchen etc. Plus it's so very personally done up, one of the very rare and best locations I have ever been !

don't go there if you like an exhausting lifestyle, partying, lots of people 'round you and fancy restaurants. it's the countryside but in a unique and modern way. seriously: nothing to complain at all !

What can we say? The house is beautiful, we felt like we are at home from the moment we met José and his lovely wife Garça It was just amazing, I hope that one day we find each other again! Thanks again for all your help and everything else Love, Aleks & David
