Quinta da Ribeira

The hosts are so friendly and welcoming, it is like being a valued guest in a Portuguese home. The room has a very large and comfortable bed which was perfect for a good night's sleep. We found the room well equipped with facilities for making a drink and rolls, butter and orange juice ready for breakfast. Our dog was made to feel very welcome and the garden was fenced and secure. In the countryside just outside Belmonte and only minutes from the A23 motorway.

Everything perfect

Perfect stopover from Lisbon to France. Super hosts and were happy to provide everything that we requested. Very comfortable. Pet friendly and lovely old building. Toasty warm ;-)

WIFI was slow unfortunately but all else was so very good, we would stay again.

Beautiful, authentic Portuguese house. Hosts were lovely and so welcoming. Perfect place to stay in beautiful Belmonte, if you have a car.

Exceptionally pleasant and relaxing atmosphere created by the owners of Quinta de Ribeira. They are genuinely kind and caring people. They have made us feel like at home throughout our staying with them. The location is very nice and quiet. We were lucky living in a very cosy atmospheric cottage, where we had have everything we needed. We enjoyed having our morning coffee and evening meal in the qunta's yard with the spectacular view on mountains. It is very secure and private place. The owners are always available and trying to do their best to make your stay very comfortable. We will definitely come back there and thoroughly recommend this place to everyone.

We can not think of any negative points as we really enjoyed it all.

The owners are very friendly and helpful

The farm hidden in the calm place with a big swimming pool and nice garden. The owner was very kindly prepared our room and parking place to have comfortable stay for us ( with problems of leg ). There was a surprise that breakfast was not included but orange juice, cold water butter & cheese in the small refrigerator and bread, coffee, tea, etc…were prepared for us to take next morning. The owners were very nice, responsible and friendly. Our room was a part of the old stone farmhouse. Stone wall was very thick and we almost never used the air conditioner. We will come back!

The farm is in a very small village and need to use very narrow road to arrive. No shops or restaurants within a walking distance. We are used to it but for some people it could be a slight problem.

As indicated above, everything was excellent. We were able to have our dogs with us ( who were quiet and well behaved) The owners were delightful and helpful. Swimming pool welcome on a hot day

Our stay was spoilt by the owners ' dogs barking all night. . We could not sleep and having driven all day with more driving to do the next day really needed a good night's sleep. Was a great shame as spoilt an otherwise great stopover
