Great place to stay - convenient location in Alfama, easy walk up the hill to the lookouts and down to the main parts of the city, and also easy walk to Santa Apolonia station. First floor apartment with all the amenities you’d expect: heating, air conditioning, and even a washing machine and dehumidifier. Thank you for the wine and treats!

Great location in the heart of Alfama (note that this means stairs - lots of stairs). Balcony with washing line to dry clothes like a local. Fully equipped, which is impressive given the small space. Outstanding host, who was responsive when issues arose.

Wouldn't recommend for more than two people - it is a tiny apartment. (For one person, it is brilliant!)

The location is good, although the staircase is very narrow and steep. Welcome gift was a nice gesture. Kitchen is good equipped.

First of all, the apartament stinks - it stinks in the bedroom (humidity), it stinks in the bathroom (bad pipes, sewerage), it stinks when you enter the the apartament. Bathroom is very small and it was hard to take a normal shower, I think there was a fungus. Bedroom is tiny and has no window. Couch in the living area was very uncomfortable, hard to sit for two people, when it sags. Everything was rough and ready, our stay was just uncomfortable.

It is a cute flat with everything you need for a short stay in an amazing location. Just big enough for three people.

A midnight binman 😃

This is a lovely flat - clean, well-equipped, nice decor - in a very authentic part of Lisbon. I was travelling with a friend so she used the bedroom and I slept on the sofa bed - which was surprisingly comfortable. The flat is located in Alfama, the oldest part of the city - and it is very quaint in many places although rather broken down and dirty in others. Nevertheless, it gives one a taste of the real (and historic) Lisbon. There are locals staying all around one. The flat looked out on a cute little square (many tourists passing) and about 20 steps up the alley is one of the best restaurants in Lisbon (and reasonably priced) - Tu e Eu. Also - we were charmed to note that we could see the river (and cruise ships) from our window.. The flat is well-positioned to explore Lisbon - you can walk everywhere (except Belem which can be reached by bus - bus stops are nearby) Be ready for lots of steps and steep roads...lots of ups and downs...but that too is part of the charm of Lisbon. Another plus - it seems that crime is just about non-existent in Portugal (except for pick-pocketing...so be careful of that). All in all, we had a lovely stay in this apartment and would highly recommend it.

There wasn't really anything we didn't like...just a warning that the shower is very small (but that is common in Europe) and the bathroom has little windows above the door to the lounge (which you can close) - but not as private as one may want. But these were minor issues.

Location in the City Centre, cozy little apartment everything what you need for one maybe two persons.

AC isn’t the best. It needs more power it doesn’t cool down properly.
