Lovehome Apartment

The apartment was beautiful and in a perfectly located spot in Alfama. Claudia's hospitality was amazing and made me feel right at home with a number of excellent recommendations. Honestly I can't wait to come back to Lisbon and stay here.

Absolutely nothing...the place was amazing!!!

Well equipped for a small apartment. We were three people and we were comfortable! Location, for us, was really perfect!

The apartment was set up making good use of its small space, so it felt pretty roomy. The shower, though, was quite small…but there wasn’t room for a bigger shower

Claudia was an amazing host - friendly, helpful, and answered our questions promptly. The flat is in an ideal location if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre but still have plenty of places to choose from for food and also a lot of history around you. The public transport is close by too and runs very frequently if you want a day trip to Sintra or a trip to the aquarium.If you have young children DO NOT bring a pram/buggy.... it would have been so inconvenient there is a LOT of steps, we bought a hiking bag for our 1 year old instead and it worked a dream, there would have been no way we would have been able to do as much as we did with a pram.

Could have been better pillows on the bed, but that's just personal preference

The location is very good, in the heart of Alfama district, on tiny narrow alley. The access is not easy, you have to climb some stairs, but this is part of this area's charm. The building is old (like all building in this district) so the rooms are small, but for us (3 persons) the space was enough. It was clean and well equipped, we even had coffee and wine from the host. We didn't met the host, the keys where in a key box. We talked by WhatsApp asking far a late check-out, which was accepted.

The only bad thing about this apartment is the smell of mold / moisture. It's not a strong smell and you get used to it, but it can be smelled when you enter the apartment. We didn't see any mold, it was just the smell.

The location of the apartment is amazing, in the heart of Alfama, close to everything, 15 minuts to the train station

Kitchen utensils like pans need replacing,

The apartment is in the middle of the very authentic Alfama district, with a lot of awesome restaurants nearby.

The water pressure is a little low, and the hot water is a little tricky, but once you get the hang of it, it is manageable.

location was great & very clean.

It’s quite small, bedroom got a bit hot at night.
