"Peaceful West Coast escape, birdlife a plenty!"

Lovely peaceful location, we enjoyed hearing the ocean and capturing photos of the birdlife (tuis loved the kowhai tree in bloom) and the wild orchid by the entrance and many flowers were beautiful. Great fire pumps out plenty of heat & comfortable beds/linen, combined with good communication from the owner what more could you ask for!

Only that we had to leave.

Forest Edge is exactly that, a charming cottage set in beautiful native bush. It is really cosy and very comfortable. Great decks with views of the Ocean. Thoughtfully set up for guests needs and pleasure.
