Kannapat House

This was such a nice environment, with sight on a jungle and mountains around the swimming pool. Really quiet and peaceful. No noise from traffic or loud insects in the bushes. Made for relaxing. The couple working here are very polite and helpful. There are though no restaurants or shops nearby, one has to either rent a scooter or a car, or depend on tuktuks or taxis. There is one very tasty street-food stop like 500m down the road to Ao Nang. We had a meal there several times and our son was playing with their sons and nephews. It was really nice socializing with the owners. As if we were with our own family. If we come back to Ao Nang area we will definely stay again at Kannapat House!

Ann was such an amazing host. Meeting us on arrival and ready with great suggestions for points of interest and always ready to help. She's very invested in her property and with good reason. The landscaping is impeccable and clean. It still manages to keep the best of what Krabi has to offer. The interior of the home that we had, #4, the level of detail given to every single part of the interior shows a true love of craft and the vast experience of our host during her travels. There is no skipping on the quality and the feel of the place. Nights were spent sleeping soundly as you hear nothing from the road or people in general. It was centrally located to all of the important places that you want to see during your stay in Krabi. Especially if you are adventurous and enjoy driving or riding. Most things can be done in under 15 minutes. The beach can be reached in about ten minutes with lots of great shops along the way if you care to look. That's how we found the ATV rides plus places to do our laundry, grocery etc. There are incredible restaurants within 15 to 20 minutes by scooter. Just ask Ann for the list. We hit every one of her recommendations and they were all great.
