Delightful Empowerment Palace

No coffee making machine, no kettle, no working internet. one tiny shabby old bathroom only although it advertised two. Everything about the property was tired and not clean. Unsafe neighbourhood We didn't stay at all for our 5 night stay and the owner agreed to a 50% discount, which she has not reneged on. Worst experience through booking.com and it took them 3 days to get back to us with this issue. Has been handled very poorly by the owner and booking.com. Not sure how the reviews are as they are that's for sure

We flew from Germany to Boston in order to pick up my 99 year old Grandmother to bring her to Philly for my daughter's college commencement. It's tough being military overseas but this place was perfect for a family reunion. We enjoyed the sleeping arrangement and having the opportunity to all sit around and talk in one location. The beds were comfortable and I was happy to find an iron and ironing board seeing my suit was all wrinkled from the long flight.

Nothing really that much other than the limited street parking but this wasn't even bad. We really didn't have any issues with this rental.

Love the location and the convenience of the shopping areas nearby. We were able to walk to gather essentials. The host, Kim and her assistant were very responsive to our needs. Checking in and out was a breeze. The decor and structure of the home was very attractive. Love the parking availability. No hassles. No more than a 20 minutes drive to all of our family members in the city. The house able to provide adequate space for all 9 of us who lodged. At first, we were a little flustered about the sleeping set-up, but we're able to work the sleeping arrangements out once we found the extra mattresses. Now, we can't wait to come back for the summer to take advantage of the outdoor layout. We absolutely fell in love with the way the furnishings and setup are for outdoor entertainment. Overall, this house met our needs.

For the Winter Months: We strongly recommend a safe space heater or an electric fireplace be installed for the lower level because it was freezing downstairs and hard to relax. Or, provide extra blankets for the open living space. We had to hang out in the kitchen to keep warm. The bedrooms were very cozy and warm but once you hit the main floor-- it was freezing!! Because we are troopers, we adjusted well, but to another customer it may be a deal breaker in the winter months especially for southerners who may not be used to the cold.

Perfect location to visit Philadelphia. Nice house with space to park the car. Good bed's. A lot of space for 4 people. Nice seats outside.

Coffee maker is using cups and not a coffee filter so for the short stay we could not use it.

It was nice and exactly as described.
