I Usually Don’t Write Reviews, But This Time I Had To I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share this experience so future guests aren’t misled by the online listings. When I arrived at the apartment, there was an overwhelming mold odor. I have severe allergies and a heightened sensitivity to mold, so this was an immediate concern. I tried to stay for two nights, hoping the odor would improve—but it only got worse. I contacted both the resort rental team and the property manager, but they did nothing to help. We pointed out that the living room and bedroom ceilings had open seams in the wood siding, which seemed to be the source of the smell. They briefly came to take a look, claimed they didn’t notice any odor, and left without sealing the area or offering any further assistance. We endured five nights of sneezing, coughing, and discomfort. Every day felt like a nightmare, and we couldn’t wait to go home. It was not just a disappointing vacation—it was physically distressing. The resort rental and property manager showed no concern for our well-being. They didn’t offer a different unit, ask if we were okay or check in with us. Their priority seemed to be profit, not guests’ health or experience. This stay felt like a trap—misleading advertising, zero accountability, and an absolute lack of empathy. I strongly recommend others rely on word of mouth and trusted sources, rather than online reviews alone. No one deserves to endure the kind of vacation we just had. Chances are, they’ll repeat this tactic with the next customer, saying the work can’t be done until after the stay.

Location to the beach was excellent and the space was clean and met our needs.

I arrived on time only to be told that they were sealing the entire block off to eradicate termites. Luckily, the resort agents found me another and couldn’t have been more helpful. I got the impression this was new to them. The resort owners must have had notice but didn’t bother to pass it on to the agents. The place they moved me to was actually MUCH better.

Beautiful condo. Just steps from the beach. Gorgeous poolside. Shopping and restaurants within walking distance. We’ll be back soon.

I had a hard time with stairs power went out for trying to cook

The pull out couch bed was extremely dirty, we had to take the mattress cover off as it was covered in orange crumbs. Also the bathroom sink drain would not stay open on its own and we had to manually hold it up every time we used the sink.

Electricity didn’t work. Had to fix it myself. Dealing with third party (resort rentals) was a nite mare
