Secluded Home with Mini Waterfall and a Creek in Hot Springs

The little waterfall under the house and the community pool.

The property was indeed secluded we enjoyed the stay.

The rules made us feel like we worked for our stay. $608 later and we stripped beds, washed their towels, placed dishes in the dish washer, cleaned out the frig and hunted for trash bags to put the trash in the can by the road and there was none offered. We bought what was required of us, it was just strange. We never met the owners, we welcomed ourselves, it was rather cold and distant, or course we’re cajun and our guests do nothing in our home but enjoy their time off from hard days. Could be a generation gap, different culture but our expectations came up short. Over all, the home itself was a treasure. Our check- in time was 4pm because it gave the owners time to go clean from previous stayers. When we left everything was pretty much done for them. They have a pretty good gig when they offer a place and all the chores are taken care of to boot.

The creek was really fun.

The Property was beautiful! Very quiet and peaceful! We enjoyed sitting outside in the morning having coffee and watching the deer in the yard. Also got to meet the Raccoon on the back deck by the grill. He startled us, but went on his way.

Unfortunately, it rained a lot during our stay so we didn’t get to do the fire pit, but made the most of it making s’mores in the oven. I also did not like the driveway. It is very steep, but after the first time backing out of it, it was much easier.

The place was in a very secluded spot in a gated community with the golf course about a mile away and just far enough away from town and near many attractions.

There was no water in the creek it would be really cool . But you can't control the weather it was hot every day.
