Iberville Quarters

Property was very clean and in a great location.

The history of the property was interesting and the location great. Right off canal street and easy access to trolly

Everything was good. There was a little issue with the AC but they were out to fix it right away. So no real issue things happen

This property has two room options. We chose the small room with a main bed and a pull out bed. Both beds are single person beds. The room had all the amenities you would need in a hotel room. There is no desk (if that's important for you). The neighborhood is safe, although the pictures might say otherwise but we felt safe, and we walked to the French Quarter from there (15 min walk along Canal Street). There is street parking always available, and there was no problem having the car there. It was safe. There is a new looking washer/dryer, but we did not need to use it.

The place is small. When the pullout bed is out, there is very little room to move around. If you are a chill person and don't mind this, then this place is a good alternative to the other expensive locations downtown and in the French Quarter.

The host was very attentive and responded quickly. She even provided recommendations on places to eat in the area.

Historical area, calm, streetcars around. Nice to live like a person from the south. Food really nearby. Because we are from Sweden we missed the table to eat around 😊

The renter was amazing. She was easily reachable, great communication, honest & upfront & had wonderful recommendations for local eats & responded to all texts quickly. The accommodations were clean & walkable to most everything. Both the heat and AC worked well. The shower was FABULOUS!

One neighbor was very rude, but he was the only one. The bathroom door was off the track so we were unable to shut it, which was a bit awkward, but we made the best of it. The roku tv was a little slow & lagged a bit but I travel with my own fire stick which worked well, so it was a non-issue for us. The lack of storage space for clothing was probably our biggest issue since living out of a suitcase for 2 weeks is a pain, but the pros far outweigh the cons so we would definitely stay again.

Nicely Updated, very comfortable, great option for a large group. Walking distance to trolly, and close to downtown.
