Rooster Ridge

Location was close to Hendersonville and Chimney Rock. Had a pleasant, relaxing stay.

Had a few issues with the hot tub. It was difficult to control the temp. Also, the jets were rather low pressure.

Great place to stay

Even though the house was not cleaned prior to our arrival, and the outside left a bit to be desired, the inside was quaint and fairly comfortable.

The house had not been cleaned or made ready for our arrival time. The beds were not made, bathrooms not cleaned…linens on the floor. We called the host to tell him the cottage had not been cleaned. He offered our cleaning fee returned (not received yet)and called his cleaning crew. The cottage was eventually cleaned. However, coming into a rental that wasn’t ready after paying $100 to have it clean and ready for us wasn’t fun…

The location is close to chimney rock and lake lure, very peaceful, and pleasant 😊

Drive way had big drop off on sides, yard over grown, firepit was mixed matched cinder blocks with burnt logs scattered, front porch rocker broken. bottom.step of kitchen stairs outside rotted, pictures on booking.com didnt match up.

I like the cabin itself ,It was very cozy, loved the fireplace and jacuzzi. The owner was fast to respond :).

The driveway up to the property and the driveway at the property needs fixing ! I was looking forward to getting into the jacuzzi when we got there ,but it took 5 hrs to heat up !

Loved the cozy cabin feel w/gas log fireplace, hardwood floors, cushioned carpet in bed rooms. Great kitchen appliances & W/D. Most especially!! ... the covered hot tub on the deck directly off master bedroom! Absolutely beautiful to watch sunset from. Lastly, though certainly not least... both the ease & swiftness of response from property manager.

"Cleaning" of property both between guests & maintenance wise, left much to be expected, or assumed. Many important issues were promptly remedied by property manager. *For potential Guests w/regular allergy symptoms... this property could cause flare-ups if filtration & filters haven't had regular upkeep. *Also important to note... gas log fireplace doesn't vent outside. Keeping windows cracked during use is recommended.
