A truly fantastic home located in a quite picturesque part of the island. The most incredible views and perfect spot to watch the sunrise from bed and sunset on the balcony. The property is clean, quiet and great use of amenities, having access to a washing machine is great and saves you time when coming home. Comfy bed and sitting area both indoor and outdoors. Check in and out was easy and great communication with a neighbour who looks after the property and provided good recommendations for local beaches and supermarkets. Do not hesitate to book this place, exceeded all our expectations and really feels like a slice of heaven.

EVERYTHING ! Literally everything.

Everything! The setting, the house, the position, everything. The house is absolutely stunning, and so are the views from the bedroom and the little garden beside the house. Faja da Ovelha is perfect for visiting the west and north of the island. It's a perfect getaway for couples and from the busy touristy locations. The accomodation has everything you need, cofee machine, microwave, dishwasher. My suggestion: we would never eat outside in our week at Refugio De Pedra, the views from the house are not comparable to any restaurant you may find in the island. Most probably a cat will pay you visits sometimes, be prepared, have some cat food with you always :)

This is an amazing place with truly stunning sea views. It's perfect if you're happy to relax in a quiet location and prepared to make a few meals rather than go out every night (as we we're). In bed with the blinds up it was like being on a cruise, all you can see is the sea! I can't rate it highly enough. Also Cony was very helpful and responsive to our needs. There are few bars and restaurants in the area, and the nearest supermarket is 15 minutes drive away, but I'm not putting that as a negative, it was no problem to us.

Nothing, it was perfect.

It’s a great place to have a easy time, far from busy Funchal. The ocean view and barbecue every evening made our time. Check other comments and pay attention to picking ride route.

Very lovely get away place. With amazing view of the sea! A perfect welcome: despite our (very) late arrival as a result of a delayed flight due to windy conditions —in addition to the flight having already been postponed by 1 day— we were kindly awaited for the hand over of the keys. Splendid service!
