Helena's Family House

The house was amazing. Extremely large with a number of accommodations. The host was friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was incredible

It’s a little bit of a hike to get to the property but manageable if you take your time. Not a big deal but was disappointed the house didn’t offer a few bottles of water for starters.

Well cared for , very comfortable. In Pinhao -very convenient. Helena is an exceptionally thoughtful host.

Very spacious house, comfortable beds. Beautiful views! Helena made us breakfast in the morning with plenty of options. She was very accommodating about the time that we wanted to eat. I can’t say enough good things about our stay. Thank you.

Steep walk uphill if you go into town but it’s a good workout after dinner! We took stairs through the center and it was faster than taking the roads

The house was amazing, spacious, clean and very comfortable. Helena our host was lovely and prepared a superb breakfast for us each day of our four day stay. We will definitely stay again when we visit Pinhao next time.

It's not a big issue, but the walk to the house from the river is a very steep climb which isn't easy for someone who isn't very fit. However, the location and views are great so this is not a big problem during the day as there are taxis around. Difficult to get at a taxi late in the evening however. It would not stop us using the house again.
