The grand babies loved the pool table

Down stairs a little cold even with heater running..last night rained hard water come in under front door..but all and all we enjoyed our stay

The downstairs movie area had very little heat.

The size of this home cannot be overstated. It's massive with more than enough room to easily accommodate a very large family. The master bathroom was also modern and spacious. With two shower heads, it really was the crown jewel of the interior. The hot tub and fire pit were other highlights, as well as the theater room. While the beds were pretty comfortable, if you are particular about the pillow you sleep on, you may want to bring your own. I also recommend leaving instructions on how to use the home theater, which is really amazing, but again could pose problems for those unfamiliar with how to set it all up for the best experience.

We were warned about the cell phone signal being an issue, and that was the case in this home. It was non-existent, but it can be remedied by turning your cell phone to "wi-fi calling" in the settings. Most modern phones offer this option. However, I recommend that the cabin wi-fi speed is upgraded, because with so many people potentially accessing wi-fi at one time (large groups staying there for example) it reduces the wi-fi's strength and wi-fi phone signal. I also didn't like the strong sulfur smell of the water. I recommend a simple whole-house filtration system, which should easily remedy this. These aren't necessarily issues with the house, but rather with it's location, as I imagine it isn't connected to city water. Lastly and most importantly, be prepared to climb two flights of stairs each time you enter, because the ground floor is the entertainment area (albeit with a full bath and sofa bed) and the main living space is actually located upstairs. Anyone with an inability to climb stairs, may need to consider sleeping on the ground floor. While some people don't mind windows without curtains/blinds, especially in such a remote location, I wanted to see this option in the main living area, since you can see inside the entire living space from other cabins next door.
