The property is well placed near the lake and town

The toilet is OUTSIDE. I rented the property with my elderly Mum who needs to use the loo during the night and she was frightened silly of locking herself out and not being able to get back in. You can't put the front door on the latch so have to remember the code every time. There's locks everywhere and unfriendly signs on some of the cupboards and the owners attitude via email appalling, signed Management - just unfriendly and unwelcomimg. The 'cooker' is just a cheap plug in electric hotplate, certainly not an induction hob as advertised. It's the first and only time I had a bad experience like this in the world using booking.com and we left early as it was so awful. The owners attitude was leave a bad review it won't impact our score!

The house stay was such a positive part of our south Island trip. We stayed 3 nights and really appreciated the location close to the town, lake and playgrounds. Check in arrangements and code was was communicated and efficient. The room was very clean and tidy and well presented. The weather limited our chance to use the outdoor deck/BBQ as well as available bikes and kayaks but it was so great they were included. The laundry was very useful for our needs. Kids liked the large TV and WiFi on rainy days. We used the main house only but there were additional buildings/ granny flats to accommodate bigger groups. Impressive facility. Would love to return again for another trip.

The kitchen bench surface area was limited for meal prep. The toilet is with the laundry ( old style floor plan) and not directly close to the bedrooms. Wasn't a problem for us though.

A fabulous location and very comfortable. We only used the main house but had our children been older the other rooms would have been very convenient.

Deberían informar de que tres habitaciones son módulos exteriores. Son bastante frías. La casa sólo tiene un baño y está fiera, para ir desde las habitaciones exteriores hay que cruzar el jardín. Y también hay que salir fuera desde la casa principal para ir al baño. Esto es muy incómodo y más por la noche y con lluvia y frio..

The seperate rooms for our kids was a huge bonus, beds were very comfy. Location was amazing and the bikes supplied were a great extra.

Lovely wee home ,excellent for us Very close to bars restaurants and supermarkets.We stayed in main house and it was very Cosy.

Nothing to not like it was perfect for us.And great value..
