The property was walking distance to the shops & the lake. Great location. The heat pump was great at keeping the main house warm. There was plenty of cutlery and crockery. The heater in the bathroom. The beds were comfy with plenty of blankets.

The security light coming on as soon as you walk out the door, meaning the camera could see you. Inadequate kitchenette, one hot plate isn’t enough for a family. As a couple we just managed ok. No clothes airier. When it’s raining or cloudy a clothes line will not dry clothes. Best to have no washing machine than nowhere to dry the clothes. The lack of a dining table. Again ok for a couple, as there are 2 bar stools. I don’t know how a family or large group would manage unless it’s sunny and you can dine outside. Rules and regulations in your face everywhere, would be sufficient if that info was given at booking time.

Awesome little property, would be good for a group booking .

We didn’t get to use them, but the bikes and kayaks were a good addition

So much room and a great location less than ten minutes from the shops

Outdoor toilet was a little odd

Excellent location and great value for money Kitchen facilities were minimal and one toilet and one shower were stretching it for a large group

Well equipped kitchen, it was nice to have a full-size fridge freezer. Good tv choices, strong shower, comfortable bed. Laundry was a definite bonus and included wash powder. Bikes and kayaks looked in good condition, but we didn't have time to use them.

We stayed in the main house but still had to go outside to the toilet, which made it feel like camping. It would be so easy to put another one in the bathroom to prevent potentially 9 people from sharing 1 toilet. All a bit 'tired', in particular the furniture and cleaning could be improved. All cupboards and wardrobes in the bedroom were locked for the owners' own use, so nowhere to unpack to. Barbecue hadn't been cleaned, so we let the owners know so it could be checked for future guests. It is probably suitable for big family groups but not really for couples
