Overlook Cottage

We have yet to receive a full refund on our account. We never set foot on the property. We drove 6 hours and never spent any time enjoying our weekend. We turned around and went home due to poor communication and not having anyway to get into the place we rented. Called property and emailed several times. Please issue the full refund like we were told by Brian at booking. We have noticed booking keeps trying to call and trying to take more money. We are unavailable for speaking. Disgusted with the situation. Someone tried to take more money from our account. This is gone too far you refund us the money.. we were promised and we have several screenshots. This is the most ridiculous thing ive ever had to deal with. We are reporting this and letting our bank know to take further action if this isnt resolved. Booking has very rude people and cannot communicate well at all.

The location is great, amazing views and close to hiking trails.

The breakfast was wonderful. The people were great

The winding road was a little shaky bit that couldn’t be helped

Shower floor was molded ans falling in. It was so cold ans it took all night to get warm. Mouse droppings everywhere

Some lights didn't work, TV was a dvd player only. NO TV. Was asked to strip bed and pile up in living room when leaving, along with any dirty towels. This is the maid's job, not the paying customer.
