"A good midpoint between LA and SF to rest."

Location is good, in the middle of No.1 route from LA to SF, a good stopping point to rest. Breakfast is simple but OK. We arrived late at 10pm, and need to find some plates for dinner, the receptionist helped us warmly. The service is good.

Nothing. Twentynine Palms isn’t great but this stay is perfect.

Mitten in der Wüste so ein toller ruhiger beeindruckender Ort. Die Wohnung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Es ist alles da und alles auch sehr großzügig. Zwei Schlafzimmer tolles Wohnzimmer und Küche zwei Bäder. Es gibt einen Außen Gasgrill und zwei Sitzplätze. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Abend ganz für uns allein (wir waren weit und breit die einzigen), wir sahen einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang und Sternenhimmel. 10/10 Die Umgebung des Trailers ist cool gemacht mit alten Gegenständen und perfekt für Fotos. Der Trailer ist sauber, einzig das Sofa war voll mit Haaren (Katze?). Es ist eher eng im Trailer was man ja aber vorher weiss, für 1 Nacht war das für uns völlig ok.

Die Anreise war etwas stressig, da wir plötzlich vor einer Sandstrasse standen und kein 4WD Auto hatten. Ich kontaktierte den Host, welche sofort geantwortet hat und genaue Anweisungen gab. Wir kamen beim Homestead an, allerdings mussten wir beim tieferen Sand schon etwas schwitzen. Es wäre hilfreich gewesen, diese Info bereits in der Beschreibung vor der Buchung zu erhalten. Wären wir stecken geblieben wäre nämlich weit und breit keine Hilfe gewesen resp. hätte es wohl sehr viel Geld gekostet.

The house and the location are unique. It is so quiet there and we really enjoyed our stay. The house is lovely decorated with lots of details.

The outdoor facilities could have been a bit cleaner. We couldn't really use the lounge chairs and the grill without cleaning it first. Because of its location with all the sand, I think it would need to be cleaned more often. There are automatic lights outside of the house which is great when you come home late but it would be great if they could be turned off at night, so that one can see the sky with all the stars.
