A limpeza não estava perfeita, na nossa chegada A casa de banho tem pouca privacidade , a janela dá praticamente para a entrada de casa de outra pessoa

De communicatie vooraf heb ik als vervelend ervaren. Herhaaldelijk gezeur over betaling die al gedaan was en zelfs een poging om te annuleren.

We hielden van de rustige locatie, het uitzicht, de nabijheid van een bakker en supermarkt, het comfort.

The house is modernly furnished, comfortable, has a lot of light and view to the sea. Good for a family but not for friends because the bathroom is very small. Would come again. Veronica was very nice and always available on phone. Fajã Grande is definitely the best place to stay in the island: beautiful landscapes and very nice village. The natural pools are also beautiful and great to swim in. Eating in Fajã is not easy nor cheap. We recommend restaurante Maresia. It’s much more than a restaurant, rather an experience to remember: great music (selection and quality of sound); magnific view (especially in sunset) and refined cooking in a very relaxed atmosphere. Shopping for food is also not easy in Fajã.

The only thing that could improve our experience is some kind of shade in the balcony (the sun is too strong to endure without a shade and this keeps you from fully using the balcony). Also the booking process was not nice: we had to pay directly to the owner, not through Booking, which even led us to think it could be a scam. Also the person that contacts with you online is very rude in the way he/she communicates with you. On the other hand, Veronica, who is your local contact, was very nice.

The apartment looks exactly like the pictures and is very nice! Good furnishings and equipment (everything you need is there) and very comfortable beds. Great views of the sea and the village, everything within walking distance. The island is also easy to explore from here. The communication on site with Veronica was excellent, super friendly support, immediate answers and great help with questions. We would book this accommodation again at any time and can highly recommend it.

The communication in advance with the owners around the booking was a bit exhausting, shorter response times can be expected. Once everything is confirmed, everything runs smoothly. The bathroom offers a little less storage space for an occupancy of 4 people and too few hooks for the shower towels. The view of the sea directly from the shower makes up for this!
