Just 10 mins walk from the centre. Host full of really helpful information. House on a quiet street. Everything was spotless. Breakfast left for 1st morning.

The location is nice

The A/C didn't work and we had to tell them, that at least a fan would be good. Took nearly 3 days of a stay of 3, so it wasn't appropriate at all. The beds a extremely uncomfortable and it wasn't clean. We had so many insects, that a pest control would have been good. The couch is so old and dirty, as well as the kitchen equipment. The bathroom under the roof is poorly made. Impossible to use the toilet in a upright position. The tap is way too short, so you can't use it properly. The chairs outside are broken and everything is cracked. It's directly next to a huge construction and behind a car park. All over - simply disappointing

The outdoor facilities, especially the rooftop patio. Location was quiet at night. The grocery store was close and had a good selection (but watch the store hours as it closes at 7 pm and 1 pm on Sundays). The train station is a 7-10 minute walk. Downtown within 10-15 minutes. The beach can be reached by boat (our choice) or bus.

The A/C in the front bedroom didn’t work blowing hot air when set to 18C. The upstairs shower needs special attention between clients

We had a fantastic stay at Casa da Avo. The house was a real home from home with everything you could possibly need. Lovely welcome pack, including milk, bread, eggs and cheese - what a surprise! Location excellent in Faro Old Town and within walking distance to all sight seeing spots. Can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay. The host rang us as our flight was very late to give us some settling in information. This enabled us to grab something to eat quickly at approximately 9pm after a long journey. She left us breakfast for the morning which was a fabulous addition. There was a folder with all local information and information needed for the house. This was very useful. The accommodation was perfect for us. Lovely spacious house with terraces to enjoy some sunshine. It had all the facilities you could need, however we only used the washing machine as we ate out for all meals. The location was wonderful - near to the centre, but also far enough out to have peace and quiet.

We stayed here for a month and loved the location. It was close to the center and the bus and train stations. Mostly we walked everywhere — restaurants, shops, marina, museums, etc. Fernanda was an excellent host— very responsive and helpful. Since we arrived on a Sunday, and shops were closed, she provided some food for us until we could shop. Beds were very comfortable too.

The second bathroom on top floor was not very convenient to use due to the sloped ceiling. Took a while to get used to.

Town house in walking distance to the center of Faro. Double beds are relatively small, but comfortable. The owner waited for us and gave us helpful instructions. She even buyed some food for us! Quiet and typical part of the city, supermarket in walking distance. Overall, we enjoyed!
