Die Gastgeber sind sehr, sehr nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist sehr vielsetig, abwechslungsreich und reichlich - kaum zu übertreffen.

Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr komfortabel und geschmackvoll dekoriert. Alles war sehr sauber und die Betten sehr gut. Ein Parkplatz befindet sich direkt vor dem Haus, ein Auto ist aufgrund der Lage sehr zu empfehlen. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht und im Kühlschrank haben wir bei unserer Ankunft Eier, Butter, Milch, Saft etc. vorgefunden. Am Abend stand ein selbstgebackener Kuchen vor unserer Tür. Jorge ist ein sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, der uns mit vielen Infos und Tipps versorgt hat. Wir sind bisher selten so gastfreundlich empfangen worden und haben uns in Jorges Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir können das Haus zu 100 % empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

Spacious, clean apartment with great views from the balcony. Very welcoming and helpful host; a delicious cake plus wine and essential groceries on our arrival. A mixture of modern convenience and old-world charm. We stayed here for a round of the World Superbike Championship in Estoril, and the apartment was ideally located for that (a bit less than 30 minutes away, depending on traffic). Very quiet and private neighbourhood. Recommended.

Pobyt w Carvalhos House zaliczamy do bardzo udanych! Dom z zewnątrz bardzo niepozorny, ale w środku bardzo ładnie urządzony. Trzy przestronne sypialnie, dwie łazienki, wyposażona kuchnia, wygodny salon – wszystko było dokładnie tak jak na zdjęciach, a nawet lepiej. W domu nie ma klimatyzacji. Są tylko wentylatory z mgiełką. Carvalhos House mieści się na zboczu wzgórza, przez to z okien rozpościerał się ładny widok. Przed domem prywatny parking – to ważne, bo ustawienie auta przy ulicy jest wręcz niemożliwe. Obsługa zasługuje na najwyższe słowa uznania. Byliśmy bardzo mile zaskoczeni, bo czekało na nas wino i ciasto. Gospodarz Jorge był bardzo gościnny i bardzo pomocny. Udzielił nam wielu informacji o okolicznych atrakcjach, sposobach transportu, jak spędzić czas, jakie restauracje odwiedzić. Okazało się, że Jorge jest też przewodnikiem i może Was zawieźć i opowiedzieć o różnych atrakcjach miasta. Pomimo problemów z dotarciem na miejsce gorąco polecam!

Z uwagi na wąskie drogi, podjazd pod górę, poruszanie się autem w tej okolicy jest bardzo uciążliwe. My akurat trafiliśmy jak drogowcy kładli nawierzchnię asfaltu i przez to musieliśmy znaleźć objazd z innej strony, co nie było komfortowe jak jesteś pierwszy raz w miejscu, którego nie znasz. Nawigacja też nas tutaj zawiodła. Przez to mieliśmy problem z trafieniem pod właściwy adres. Numeracja ulicy/domu jest słabo widoczna. Wszystkim osobom, które planują zwiedzać atrakcje Sintry: Pałac Pena, Quinta de Regaleira, czy zamek Maurów zdecydowanie odradzam podróżowanie do tych miejsc swoim samochodem. Drogi są strasznie wąskie, kręte, raz ostro pod górę, a potem w dół. Nie wspomnę już o problemach z parkowaniem. Wybierajcie tylko małe samochody taksówek Uber lub Bolt - tanio i bez stresu.

Location is great if you have a car. The host family was incredible, they were friendly and attentive to our needs.

El anfitrión muy amable y atento. En todo momento nos ayudó con varias cosas que necesitábamos y además nos dejó un bizcocho de bienvenida y algunas cosas de comer a la llegada. Muy agradecidos con él.

Nice place for a family to stay while exploring Sintra. But take UBER locally as Parking and streets in Sintra are difficult
