GBA beautiful oasis in the centre of Kayaköy. The garden and pool area is absolutely stunning. One of the nicest places we have stayed in Turkey or indeed anywhere. The house itself is quite rustic but really characterful. The village is really interesting and has loads of restaurants. Fethiye is 15 mins away.

BGWe spent seven unforgettable days in this amazing place . For us, time seems to have stopped here. The house we stayed in is like a movie set. I think of "A Good Year", with George Clooney in the title role. Our hosts, Burcin and Vicky, are more than kind and tactful. The pool and the greenery around it are reminiscent of a hidden oasis in the middle of the jungle. The village of Kavköy itself is situated high up in the plain midway and equidistant between Fethiye and Oludeniz. An ideal base for the beach and exploring the area. In the village itself there are many good restaurants offering authentic local cuisine. If you are here, you can visit the ghost village and definitely take the new lift to the highest peak in the area - Babadag. From here you will see some of the most captivating and magnificent sunsets. The place is also known as one of the biggest centers in the world for paragliding.
The last 200 meters to the house is on a narrow dusty path that we couldn't find at first.
