Farm of Dreams Algarve

The outdoor area is truly a dream. We rented a one-bedroom apartment, there was everything one needs. The decorations were very cute, we even had our own Christmas tree. Steven is very friendly and welcoming, we felt like at home. We will be definitely coming back!

Our stay at the Farm of Dreams was simply wonderful. The comfort of the accommodations made it feel like a true home away from home, and the peaceful atmosphere was perfect for relaxation. Our host Steven’s kindness and attentiveness were outstanding; he and his team went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, responding swiftly to any request. This hidden gem in Algarve is the ideal destination for anyone seeking tranquility, warmth, and impeccable hospitality. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Farm of Dreams - it is a little slice of homely tranquillity a short walk from Almancil, where there are plenty of top quality supermarkets and some really good restaurants. We were hosted by Steven and Teresa - the owners of the Farm of Dreams, and Steven met us at the gate for our arrival with a warm welcome and a tour of the accommodation. The communication before our arrival was excellent and Steven and Teresa had done a shop for us and loaded up the fridge - including a Birthday cake & Bubbles to help us celebrate a Birthday. The whole place was set up well for young families especially - we were travelling with our 5 month old baby so Steven had set up our place perfectly with a "next to me cot". The pool area is very safe with a gate to stop little ones going near the pool without supervision and there is a mini/crazy golf course and play area for entertainment. The cleanliness of our accommodation was outstanding. Steven & the cleaners clearly work hard to make sure that things are well presented. Upon arrival we had a fresh stock of Nespresso pods for the coffee machine, bottled water, nuts, sparkling wine and a few beers in the fridge to help us relax. More importantly for self-catering accommodation, there were condiments for cooking and all the domestic products you need for washing, washing up, rubbish disposal etc. so no need to purchase yourself. This meant we spent less time setting ourselves up and more time relaxing and enjoying the sunshine! The location: it's not Prime Algarve territory like Vale De Lobo or Vilamoura, but the price reflects this. We found it to be the best of both worlds. A relaxing, safe, quiet and homely environment where you can either drive or (as we did) Taxi to Vale De Lobo for the day; 16 euros each way which was much cheaper than hiring a car. There's plenty more to say, but I'd suggest finding out for yourself! We'll be back in the future.

Probably the worst thing was that we didn't book longer! Other than that, the only time I was remotely annoyed was with the occasional Wasp disrupting my attempts to BBQ; but Steven is able to sort Citronella candles around the bbq area to ward off any bugs wanting to join you for dinner!

The welcome was exceptional. Steven was very quick to help us with anything we needed during our stay. We had a great barbecue with our family by the beautiful pool area.

Great experience in a lovely place! Host Steevan really made us feel welcome and special. He recommended really nice restaurants, places for a walk and sights in the area so that we had a great time during our stay. We even tried the oranges from the garden.

Incredible host, probably the best I've met in many years. Property is great for those who have children, with lot's of fun things to do. The house is well equipped and Steven is always available to help on anything we need. Pool area is quiet and pool is amazing.

This place is a utopian paradise. So thoughtfully set up with flora and fauna bringing in the birds and butterflies. The pool is surrounded by colourful trees and succulents and plenty big enough with comfortable loungers and near to a decadent seating area under a pergoda where you can have bbqs. Our accommodation was a stunning villa/cottage with everything we wanted and more.
