Nature's Valley Health Retreat A Hide away in the Forest

Eine außergewöhnliche und ausgefallene Unterkunft. Eine Art Baumhaus im oberen Stockwerk mit Zugang über eine Holztreppe und Veranda mit direktem Blick in die Bäume mit zahlreichen Vögeln. Ruhig, sehr sicher und einladend zum Entspannen. Ausstattung der Wohnung ist eine Sammlung von Antiquitäten und wirklich nur etwas für deren Freunde. Erna ist eine sehr liebenswerte Gastgeberin. Gemauerter Grill auf der Terrasse. Gut ausgestattete Küche. Wir haben uns gleich sehr wohl aufgehoben gefühlt. Würden sehr gerne wieder kommen

Es ist alles altmodisch, aber eben mit einem besonderen Charme.

Our host, Erna, was incredibly kind, friendly, helpful and hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble for Erna and her communication was always quick and efficient. Erna organised kayaks for us and we also enjoyed two incredible hikes in Nature’s Valley, one up Pigs Head and the other to the Salt River beach. The Forest retreat location is beautiful, set high up and surrounded by magnificent trees and bird life, all enjoyed from a large deck area (with seating area and braai facilities). The home is furnished with fascinating antique furniture and our girls were enthralled about sleeping in a proper four poster bed! We enjoyed cosy evenings watching movies with the door to the beautiful deck open.

De ligging is geweldig! Op loopafstand van het strand, lekker restaurant op loopafstand en Erna is een fantastische host! En apen op het terras rond 17.00 uur en heerlijke vogelgeluiden.

Une maison de vacances très authentique, nous avons adore passer du temps sur la terrasse. Le lit chauffant était vraiment un plus. Et la maison était située non loin d’une belle plage. Nous étions seul au monde. Possibilité de voir plein de singes.

La maison manque d’être aérée alors nos habits ne sentent pas très bon depuis le départ de la maison, de plus il a fait très froid le matin.

Chez Erna, on se sent comme à la maison. L'appartement est spacieux et très bien décoré avec les objets de famille et de beaux meubles anciens. La terrasse est immense, entourée de tous les arbres de la forêt protégée de Nature's Valley et des plantes fleuries du jardin d'Erna dont les bouquets de fleurs fraiches égaient la maison, surtout les magnifiques clivias! Un pur bonheur

Erna's communication was great! Beds were comfortable! Beautiful and peaceful area.

Would have liked some shower amenities. But everything else was perfect!

Absolutely adorable place to stay the antics made the place feel like something out of an exotic Jane Austin novel. Erna is a friendly and kind host. Views are beautiful, and the atmosphere is peaceful. And it is a short walk to the beach.
