Quelques renovations seraient de rigueur, marques d'eau autour de la baignoire, traces d'humidité. Murs et plafond, moulures, qui commence a s'abîmer. Bruit du moteur de piscine gâche un peu la sérénité du lieu quand on est sur la terrasse, la piscine est mal entretenue ( traces jaunies à la ligne d'eau), plomberie à revoir, robinet de cuisine presque cassé, chasse d'eau que l'on doit actionner plusieurs fois pour tirer la chasse... Casseroles rayées en très mauvais état.

Beautiful setting , comfortable house with everything you could want for. Staff attending to the house were really nice.

What an absolute dream this property is--- and how amazing is it that Corne shares it with the world! We were a group of seven adults who loved every moment of our week at Tamboti. The house is enormous, beautifully appointed, comfortable, and has the most epic river view you can hope for. Communication was fabulous from start to finish, too (Corne even gratefully answered my silliest questions via text with lightening speed!). What a total dream all around! We arranged two days of spa treatments through the reserve right at the house, which Corne kindly shared information on. For us Americans, the pricing was exceptional, especially for massages and facials at your own house! Getting a massage on the upper balcony while listening to the hippos in the river was an incredible experience. And the two women who came to do our treatments were SO sweet and did such an amazing job. Just lovely. We also did pretty much daily game drives through the reserve, which also were wonderful (and thank you to Corne for helping arrange those, too!). And I want to give a special shout out to David and Suzan, the caretaker and housekeeper on property. They are the sweetest, kindest folks who truly make that house a home. I can't say enough wonderful things about the two of them and how grateful we were for their care throughout the week. For two of us, this was our second time at Mjejane, but our first at Tamboti. For the rest, it was their first in South Africa ever. Truly, this was just an amazing trip start to finish and we can't wait to come back in a couple more years again! Appreciate you all!

There is literally nothing I can say here, which sounds absurd but it's true. The property is beautiful, well appointed, clean, and well cared for. And you can't beat the communication, care, and view!

We loved our stay. We were a large family group, and the house was perfect for us. The highlight was definitely sitting in the pool or on the patio, watching animals come down to drink at the river. It was magical sitting around the fire pit at night listening to bush noises. The game drives we did with Doctor were incredibly special, and he was very knowledgeable. The rooms were spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The host was very responsive and communicated well. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.
