Gecko Cottage at Artemis

This was self-catering so no breakfast was offered. For those who want an elaborate breakfast, F'hoek has plenty of b'fast suppliers so this was not a problem.

A bit puzzled that only side of the bed had an electric blanket.

What breakfast? This is a self catering venue!!!!!!!!!!!!

More dry kindling could br provided for the excellent fire. In our case the weatyer was dry so we were able to find pine cones and twigs etc right outside the cottage.

Everthing was perfect. Great location, great views. Loads of attention to detail, coffee, milk rusks, lights for loadshedding...

The neighbours generator right next door...

The place was great and although we just slept there. We met up with friends that from Australia that was in town and we spent the whole day with them and had to leave early for the airport. We definitely want to go back to Franshoek and will stay there again.

There wasn't anything we didn't like

The location is really pretty. The cottage is spacious and clean.

I though from the pictures, that the place had two rooms. It was a bit surprising, that there was one bed only.

The next door neighbour runs his generator at midnight and at 3am.
