Very quirky and unique. Comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean. Amazing gardens. Tranquil. Well equipped.

Could have done with a couple of solar lights when returning to the property after dark.

The room itself was lovely. Simple and comfortable with some really beautiful artistic touches. The view, gardens and pool are absolutely gorgeous. The photos don't do it justice.

Everything perfect. Tranquil location with stunning views and within walking distance of all that Franschoek has to offer. Spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds and lovely bed linen. The gardens are magical. We couldn't fault Gecko cottage and if we returned to Franschoek area would 100% stay here.

"Magnificent place, we will return"

Fabulous location, beautiful views, peace and tranquility. Lovely natural grounds, magnificent swimming dam.

Ants and mosquitoes were a big problem. A spray for ants was supplied on our last morning and made a huge difference, but we’d already had 3 nights without one. A mosquito net would be perfect for the bed, or at least a personal insect repellent
