Rosebury Cottage

The instructions to de-activate the alarm were meant to be read standing at the green front door on the driveway side, but it was pouring with rain when we arrived, so we parked the car on the patio side (also where the keys were hidden). Was therefore it bit confusing, because we couldn't see any red alarm light anywhere. But we got inside OK. Apart from that, our overnight stay was excellent, thank you.

The road to the property is awful with the rain - definately would not be able to get a car or low clearance vehicle down the road. Nowhere to sit outside in miserable weather

Very friendly host. Thoughtful additions like milk in the fridge and some delicious cookies!

The location is amazing. I loved the place and hope to come back again with my friends. It was a cold night and there was a gas heater that actually worked, And there was coffee. We were actually told there'd be no wood which was great because we bought wood and had the fire going. There was also load shedding but it didn't affect us greatly as the lights worked and there were 3 other rechargeable lights.

Surrounding area was nice and tranquil. Lots of beds for a group

1. Cottage not that clean and had cobwebs in some places. 2. Road to the cottage is terrible as you come closer to it. You almost need a 4x4. People had to come out from the small car as it was hitting the ground and scraping the humps. 3. Place was only bearable for the few hours we needed to sleep and go.
