Kaaimans River Rustic Views

The view was beautiful and the people welcoming us were very friendly. The commute by boat was easy and enjoyable.

In real life the apartment was less glossy than on the pictures. Also, what the pictures do not convey is the level of noise of the highway, which is just above the river. The street noise is very loud and negatively influenced the experience of our stay. All of this would still be acceptable if it wasn't for the damp and moldy bedrooms. Not only was the air very damp, but also the bed. This made it very uncomfortable when going to sleep. By far the worst was the mold on the walls and the moldy smell in the bedroom. This made for bad nights and I do not even know what this did to our health. Even after we checked out our clothes were still smelling of mold. I cannot recommend to book unless the hosts specifically confirm that this issue has been fixed.

Breathtaking views and the entire setup is comfy. Loved how it's so secluded. Kids enjoyed the river and canoeing to the waterfall. Great place to relax and just enjoy being in the moment. Francis was also very helpful with getting our luggage back and forth and to assist wherever we should need him.

A little maintenance here and there needs to be tended to, but nothing that takes away from our great stay and experience.

Stunning Views with rustic vibes

The boats condition needs to be looked at and we had problems with electricity. Other than that it is a one-of-kind-find!

The most beautiful view from the deck, the fire pit was lovely and the bed was so comfortable.

The location, view, acess to the river was fav! Francis, the host was excellent and went out of his way to help us out!
