The Gables-Clarens

Close enough to Town square without being too close to traffic and noise. We stayed in the Loft, lovely, comfortable and well set-up.

Glad we were not tall visitors 😀😃

We were welcomed with a milktart, what a nice gesture from the hosts!! There were even electric blankets on all the beds

The loft was smaller than expected. I had a tall friend who had to bend in order to move around. Sitting on the toilet was a hassle as you had to bend to fit in. The height was bad. We were later told that we left a lipstick stain on a pillow and had to pay for dry cleaning from our damage deposit.

The loft has lower than normal ceiling due the A-Frame roof. You soon get used to it.

Great Value for money. Good location, walkable distance from town centre (shops and restaurants) Hosts provide everything as advertised and we had a very comfortable stay. Quality matresses and pillows for a great nights sleep and luxury linnen and towels. Everything squeaky clean. Will definitely return, big thank you to the hosts.

The property is beautiful and very modern but the people that manage it, are dishonest, they produced photos of damages we didn’t do, and it left us with a sour feeling
