Art House

Lovely quiet home in Paradyskloof. We had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. Beautiful art from the owner and a great stoep to sit on and enjoy the garden. Loved watching the squirrels in the trees (although a neighbourhood cat unfortunately killed one...). The courtyard was also great for our two small dogs. Check in was super easy. House was neat and clean and communication from host was great.

We only had towels for 4 people, even though we were 5 adults and a 3 year old. Bathtub switch between bath and shower didn't work at first, but we managed to fix this ourselves. Some stains on the white bedding, but didn't feel unclean. Some of the latches in the bedroom cupboards needs some TLC. Overall this did not affect our stay and would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Loved the art, feeling of peace and tranquility and the overall comfort of the house.

Something needs to be done about the mildew in the shower area. It is in the grout and detracts from the overall home. I get that it is not an easy fix as one would have to remove the grout and replace it with new grout.

It was spotless, had all the amenities one could want and a beautiful setting.

Nothing we didn't like

Safe and central location, easy check-in, beautifully decorated home, with all the amenities, and serene outdoor areas both in the front and back of the home.

There was nothing that we did not like!

The place is precisely what we needed to unwind and a very good start to the holiday season.

The Art House is located in a very nice neighbourhood. It is well equiped with everything one needs. It felt like home!

Everything was great

Art House is a beautiful cottage in a lovely area of Stellenbosch. It is a convenient base from which to travel out to see all that the Western Cape inland areas have to offer. Your every need is catered for and we had a wonderful stay.

The privacy in the 2 spare bedrooms is not great as the neighbours can look straight in, but if you keep the blinds closed it is not a problem.

The house is situated in a beautiful area and is very nicely appointed inside. Beautiful art and excellent cooking facilities and bedrooms were really nice.

We had a few issues with an aircon that didn't work and some missing cutlery they were not aware of but they remedied the cutlery issues straight away. The showers could use a door or curtain as the water goes everywhere.
