The kitchen had cockroaches Hot water was a problem, looks like the geyser had issues

Apart from the fact that Alice is friendly and always reachable, I dont know what to tell you about the place. If you are looking to be underwhelmed, book here. the fact that plates have cracks, glasses look stained like they were used 10 years ago, there arent even enough by the way, you might want to pack your own cutlery and crockery when going to this place, the braai stand is barely holding on to its dear life as one leg is broken, the wooden chairs outside looks like they are going to collapse anyday(sit at your own risk), I booked this place for my sister's birthday weekend and i could see the family's dissapointment when we entered the place. The saddest part is that this house has so much potential, it just requires a touch to make it suitable for accomodation. My sister and i drove for 30 minutes on Saturday to go buy plates and glasses so that we can feel better. Imagine this! We told the host Alice that this is beyond disappointing.

A lot, having stained and cracked utensils is a form of disrespect to guests honestly.

The tap water was so terrible. We should have been told to bring the fire woods since we around winter. The couch was not comfortable .

Lacks attention to detail. No proper wine glasses, no wine opener, kettle dirty, cockroaches in the kitchen.
