Vintage Serene Villa

It is difficult to access the house - signage to the street is not visible from the main road.

We waited a long time at the gate before receiving the access code. Directions to the house lead to a back unused entrance - it took quite a while to finally find the correct entrance. There was nobody to give us keys to the house. We spent about an hour before gaining access.

Nothing

The pool was green and therefore could not use it. Lots of spiders everywhere. 4 members slept in one room where we managed to kill the spiders. It was dirty. Nothing worked. Ice machine did not work. Lights didnt work. The braai was broken and had to braai skew on unsteady braaier. Hardly glasses available. The property is a triple story so there is no flow from kitchen to braai area and pool. We ran out of toilet paper.

When we arrived at the security entrance. We could not get in because the host did not send us the pin' We tried calling the host but the contact 'number did not go through

The house is cold but there was no heater Gas stove was not working Last day we did not get hot water TV was not working

Fact that we waited for the code at the entrance and still wait for the house key while it was cold and raining other than that we enjoyed our stay

Nothing.

The hospitality leaves a lot to be desired. No Coffee & Tea complementary. Rooms not mend/cleaned over our stay. Difficult to get hold of the host for assistance. Wifi not working, Gas Braai stands not working, Television & Dstv not working. Lack of towels for guests. No twin plugs to plug electric blanckets on a cold wekend. Faul smell in the house, kitchen and every where, unpleasent smell.
