Comfy bed and nice linen

There was no kitchenette, a kitchenette would have a sink, this did not, no bathrobes, no parquet flooring, the flooring is in fact painted wood. The photographs show the frontage of the property, however the host fails to mention that access is not as shown in the photograph showing a front door and stoep but up an outside very steep metal staircase at the back of the property with no outside lighting. Also the shower is outside down the steep metal staircase.

It was quaint

Road noise was constant through the night. We had a banging noise on the roof due to the wind, that we had to resolve ourselves after discovering an over hanging branch. But the main thing is the lack of contact with the hosts. We followed all the instructions on arrival and no one answered any of the phones. It was 10 minutes before someone appeared. During the stay I messaged the hosts a few times, no response. There were no instructions about what to do about handing the keys back, again no response to phone calls or messages. Eventually we returned to the property after breakfast out and luckily someone was there that we could hand the keys back to.
