Northbank

Location was great, a few minutes walk into town. Very well equipped. Nice hamper with milk, biscuits, eggs, wine, bacon. tea, coffee etc. Plenty of extra's nice outdoor space.

Garden very shaded due to tall trees, although we did manage breakfast in the sun!!

Location was excellent, brilliant pub so close by ! House was lovely

Twin room in photos was made into a double and we had a boy & girl teenager so we managed to re make the room but only had one double duvet. Luckily we found a blanket ! There was only 5 forks so we had to buy one, wasn’t an issue but the owner may notice if it doesnt match up 🤣 hung a bag on a hook inside a cupboard and the hook came off the wall, again no issue for us but it will need fixing. I would have done it had I had a screwdriver handy!

We arrived at Northbank on a chilly Friday evening, the cottage was really clean and lovely and warm. Visiting in December there were festive wreaths on the outer doors and a Christmas tree in the front room. The welcome hamper was fantastic, and then we also found milk and bacon in the fridge and a loaf of bread - very well stocked. The two double bed bedrooms were a good size with plenty of cupboards and storage space. The smaller bedroom with the two kids beds was a bit of a squeeze but the kids didn't mind- still young enough to think that's fun! Good sized, clean bathrooms and reasonably well stocked kitchen for plates, utensils etc. We paid a couple of visits to the quirky little pub next door- an added bonus for the trip. We also loved being able to just walk straight into Rye town with the convenience of leaving cars parked at the property. Definitely a good little location and a warm and comfortable stay. Not much to not like, if we were being really picky, a small bin in the main bedrooms would have been convenient, no full length mirrors so never actually saw my whole outfit head to toe all weekend and when the used plates and cutlery were in the dishwasher, there were no spares to use until the dishwasher was finished- extremely first world points to make, but, the question was asked, so just saying!

Good communication with staff quickly answered questions. Extremely clean and very well equipped home from home. Wonderful welcome basket. Private parking a real bonus

The smaller bed could be more comfortable.

Fantastic host great communication. Perfect location spotlessly clean,decorated to high standard home from home 🏡. Looking forward to returning again in Dec.
